that's the reason why I don't own any comic books, they're just a waste of money for me since I like to focus on relations between characters, be it romantic or platonic. Comic books seem to be very inconsistent, one series can feature SMWW, the next can be semi BMWW or they can just feature other cannon relationships. However I grew up watching JL/JLU series and I was completely fascinated by BMWW relationship, now I've grown up and that hasn't changed. They just make complete sense to me, they're both warriors in the classical sense, superman by all intents and purposes is not. The fact that Superman, a male, is stronger than her, the champion of Olympus would rankle her, being as Superman is sort of like the modern day Hercules (Heracles). I always thought batman to be more like Perseus, and come on! who doesn't like Perseus? To finish Superman off, I like Lois' bossy attitude towards the boy scout, it keeps him in check. In a way SMLL is like BMWW reversed, Bruce and Lois are both snippy and bossy, and Clark and Diana are both a bit more naive in the relationship department. Although Lois is the boss of SMLL, I believe Diana would be the boss of BMWW and Bruce wouldn't mind one bit.

And as for Diana being her own superhero entity? I agree every bit, the rest of the world and DC writers don't seem to though. Her past/origin is based of an actual myth and Greek legend that is unstable and controversial at best, writing her completely separately from other DC heroes would prove difficult only because her storyline tends to be inconsistent with the rest of the DC communities.

As for Steve Trevor, WHO THE HECK IS STEVE TREVOR? or TOM TRESSER for that matter. complete nobodies, no one cares about these characters, DC could just eradicate the characters from all know DC universes and I doubt 80% percent of the DC fanbase would even notice or care. Are these the kind of fictional characters that you want Wonder Woman to be with? that in itself would damn her into the supporting-role she already plays. What if a new storyline came out where Batman kept a relationship with Vesper Fairchild? or Superman with Luma Lynai, your probably wondering who these people are and I don't think I speak for myself when I say I wouldn't spend a dime to keep up with these story lines. Same applies for Wonder Woman.

And last but not least, the reasons why I believe Bruce is right for Diana are simple. first, coming out of an island where men are non existent, I believe she would need a man independent, self reliant and emotionally 'un-clingy'. why? because she would need to learn the roles in a relationship between a man and a woman, without being suffocated or alienated. I believe Bruce is the only one mature enough and strong enough to fit the role, to bear her burden in stride and to be stubborn enough not to burden her with his needs. They also share an inexplicable chemistry without even trying, suffice to say BMWW is the way to go. I suppose my statements and opinions can be refuted, so I'm stating now that everything above is my opinion alone and there is no need to try and prove me wrong, this was mainly written for fellow BMWW fans.
